A
very windy day (particularly for the later riders) down on the Marsh slowed times down considerably and upped the pain factor compared to the KCA event in June. Despite that there were, as usual, some quality rides from the SFACC boys and girls. In particular was Michael Barnes, who knocked 16 minutes off his PB from earlier in the year, and only about 15 hours after his great ride in the GHS 10 mile finals! He was also briefly held up at a railway crossing. Kate Bosley did very well in her first 50 - particularly in the conditions, and Bernadette also took a big chunk off her PB
