Now that we've got so many racers in the club, who's tempted to go and play on bikes with no gears or brakes on sloped tracks this year?

Miss Potential Well done on your 25 PB the other night,

it occured to me after, that my shout of encouragement as i went past you on wednesday may have not been interpreted that way?
My apologies if thats the case.

"I hope you fall off!" is rarely seen as encouragement, Lee!

Some riders need no encouragement to fall off.

Thank you, it was painful, but worth it, I'm just getting bored of having to scroll down the results sheet week after week to find my time. But well done to you as well 1:04:43, i wasn't quite expecting to see the high teens, early twenties that quck but obviously i didn't manage to hold you off that well.

I did seem to find myself hanging on to the handle bars in shock as you passed me but don't worry, it was a simular story when Martyn passed as well :). I find it really helps me when i get encouragement from other riders (more so than my mums encouragement :?) and I think that your scream of 'come on' and the support from all the marshalls really helped me cross the line that night. :D

Pedalling on a fixed bike with no brake sounds like fun. I will be there. Herne hill track deserve all the attention we can give it. It was an olympic track. What a privilege. To enter in advance just call me on 01634 270 383.
It is open to first claim members. Enter in advance for just £5 or £10 on the day. Detail will be posted shortly.

Ps: Date of championship: 30th August 2009

Been on HH every Wednesday since the season started. I will be there for the club champs.

They do Derny training on Thursday nights there too which can be good for a laugh if you're into that kind of thing.

And did Joe mention that he wasn't exactly fresh for the club track champs. He'd spent Saturday afternoon racing up the "col de Hog-Hill"

Well done everyone.
