Philip
Have you read my article in the Sept Milestone? I thought it explained fairy clearly what this event is. You choose your distance, the time you want to cpmplete it in, & your starting point, unless you are a BIG BOY & go for the 100 mile ride, then you have to start at Potters Corner, on the A20 near Ashford.

No rules other than you get your cards checked during the event at the specified points, are able to read a map (a dying art in some quarters) & the course details that Ron will give you on entering etc. We won the Trophy last year so need to defend our title this year. Many of our clubrunners enter from the A Group (who we expect to see in the 100 mile section) to the D Group, who win us hard earned points in the lesser distances.

There will be lots of SFA who will be happy to tell you all about it. It's the only non-racing event the KCA has but even so, it's a hard-fought competition.

No need for an entry form - just tell me what distance/time you want to do and where you want to start - Claygate or Ashford (No choice if you are doing 100miles - they all start at Ashford).

Also send me the £2.50 entry, cheque payable to San Fairy Ann CC.

Ron can you put me down for the 100K from Claygate with the fast inters group please, i will get the money to you in the next few days.

There is a CX race that day but the 70 miles to Hillingdon has just tipped the importance of points for the club over my points for the cross league.

Ah, crap. Entries are closed now then :( I really must improve my organisation!
The car in front is a Toyota. The car behind is inevitably some git in a BMW doing their best to knock you off your bike...

Anyone know whether the 100mile route will be published before the event in some form? (ie. via map, directions or gps files). I'd like to do a quick reckie just to make sure I don't get completely lost on the day if pos.

Ta,
Dave
