Can you also sort out a handicap system for the race according to the age of the Bike. :D

Or the price of the bike minus the age of the rider - lowest= best handicap. (Might be more appropriate for time trials)

If I applied the handicap system to Ian Neild by the time he starts Half of our Juniors would have finished.
I personally recommend the use of an approved cycle helmet when riding ones bike

Yes good point Jodie. I'm glad you've recognised this rather mean streak in him!

It reminds me of the competition against Sarah today in the 'Juvenile' category. The lad that won was a 6ft 15 year old!

Welll very sad to let you all know that im not gonna be at the off road champs as i have the 15 miler the day after so im gonna go for a nice spin with the B group :D

Michael Very sorry to hear you will not be moutain biking with the hard men.

mind you, you could still come along to spectate.

I've got my son Harry (7) and two of his friends (7 as well) for the junior race and I'll bring my bike along and se if I can haul my butt around the course as well.

Any women out there thinking about doing the mtb tomorrow? don't want to be the only one out there like last year!

Michael i'm doing the 15 on sunday too - tomorrow will only be 30 mins what harm can it do to my legs??
