Never in doubt 8) Well done everyone. Would be good to know the final scores on the doors when they're available.

Hi Damian,
I was so busy getting ready to cheer or cry (Im a bad loser  )on Sunday as Paul held us in suspense at the Lunch before he announced the winners that I missed the actual points. There was also an almighty roar from our table as we realised we had won (we knew the MVC had the same number of 100 milers as we did) but I phoned him at the shop today & although he had left all his KCA stuff at home he says we had around 240 points to the MVC 118. Both clubs had 36 entered in the 100 miles event. We had 46 in the 100k & they had 32, but it was the steady 'rump'of of our 'slower' riders that did us proud & kept the points coming in.

I have the full list of the names of every club & their riders so I will look to see what distance you did in the RT! Well done to all our 100 mile ladies as well. I will get it all in the next mag.

14 extra riders doing 100k plus 23 doing 50k does not account for such a big difference in the points. We obviously had a lot more who actually started and/or finished (or didn't get lost!) at all the distances.

Congratulations and thanks to everyone involved
