The mens team record was broken four times today and its taken all day to add up the times!! (not enough fingers and toes for the maths required). Last years record stood at 1hr 50min 49secs

First three to break the record: Michael Barnes, Carl Bradford, Steve Berry with: 1hr 50min 07secs
Next Michael, Steve and Mike Piper: 1hr 45min 40secs
Next Steve, Mike, Damian Cairns: 1hr 45min 38secs
Last record set at today's race Steve, Mike and Ian Sutton: 1hr 44 min 15secs

Well done to everyone who rode the last TT of the season in good conditions for Octocber just a little chilly. Steve Berry improved his PB by 58 seconds and I think Mike Piper improved his PB at the 15 mile distance not sure about anybody else.

John Bosley don't you dare sell your TT bike or you'll be in trouble with me!! Also Damian I looked back at last year's result for the same event re times and you were 2 minutes and 1 second quicker than last year. You've had a super second year racing and I have no doubt after a well earned rest you'll be back even stronger next year.

Enjoy the rest while you can and roll on 2010.

Sarah

Congratulations everyone.

That was a very convenient order of start to give so many the chance to get their name in the club records.

Damian and Sarah, thanks for your support! I'll ignore the comments of Messrs Stocker and Sayers and others! Ok, how about I sell my TT bike ... but get a better one?

John, Dick would still beat most of us!

The problem with a new bike is it takes away that last decent excuse.

I got a new bike at the start of the year and with it out went my decent excuse. Had loads of fun finding plenty of lousy excuses ever since :-)

Ok, I've put some details of My bike which I'm selling under the classifieds section. Selling Kate's aswell, she's getting far too good so it'll be great to see her face when she goes in the garage in the new season to find she'll have to compete on either a BMX or a unicycle!
