Fowlmead have also organised a 6 hour endurance race which raises money for the British heart foundation.

It can be ridden as a solo. Pair or in a team of three with a free BBQ after the event. I hope to ride this with a friend for fun as this will be his first race.

I hope you appreciated the occasional cheers yesterday! It certainly looked a bit of an endurance!

Thanks for the support it was a very hard race (Hot and with a strong wind later in the day). I completed 8 laps of the five mile circuit with my team mate clocking up 7 laps which totals 75 miles off-road in six hours. This placed me and my team mate in 15th position overall out of 59 teams.

The free BBQ at the end tasted superb.

Yes without a doubt I would do it again but I do prefer the one hour CX and mtb events.
