WATTBIKE! What bike?

Postby johnbosley on Fri Jun 26, 2009 11:18 am

I am arranging a demo of the Wattbike at my home address if anyone is interested. It's looking likely to be this Monday (29th) at about 5.30/6 pm. Could be convenient for calling in on the way home from work (Maidstone, Grove Green area)!

Is anyone interested? If so I'll post more details as I get them!

It's the static training bike that is used by pros and endorsed by British Cycling.

It's supposed to be as close to real cycling as you can get (So why not get at out on your bike!). It can be used for every kind of cycling from rehabilitation to Olympic training to online racing, is suitable for riders of all abilities and ages and provides accurate and consistent performance data. And it doesn’t cost the earth (Oh no?). It is the first and only indoor bike to be endorsed by British Cycling, the highly successful governing body of cycling in the UK.
What makes Wattbike groundbreaking isn’t just its realistic ride. Wattbike captures performance data up to 100 times per second across 29 parameters whilst its performance computer delivers the kind of data that, until now, has only been available to the world’s most elite athletes. And because every bike gives comparable data and has software that grows as you do, it means you can compare your performance with the best.

well, you did ask!

WATTBIKE Demonstration

Postby johnbosley on Sat Jun 27, 2009 7:44 pm

The Rep. from Wattbike is coming (after a presentation at the TV Studios) to demo the bike at our house. It looks like 6 to 6.30 but he has my phone number so if there is a problem or a delay he'll phone me and I'll put it up on this post.

If you'd like to come along let me know and I'll send directions via private message,

John
