Just to let you know this is a very friendly place-very nice coffee and cakes just a bit more pricey (1.65 coffee 2.00 cake filled baguettes etc) but nice warm smart surroundings-see what you think if your out that way

Simon is this the same place we went to yesterday??

If so perhaps we were just unlucky with the very slow service?

Baguette was very nice but it was £4.50 and took 1 hour to make. (notice i did not say cook)

Also beware of local drivers reversing over bikes, obviously not a fan of the Scott CR1.

Yes- cakes £2-00 plus they do filled baguettes (had to kill filling first!).
Bit slow Saturday as owner/nice lady wasn't there.
Should have popped round to Merriments where we were due to stop but flagging riders tempted us to pull in early.
Sorry

Yeah, Rob! Where did you get to? We were waiting for you for hours you know...

I was meant to be doing a gentle day of riding and after 45 minutes with you lot, I realised that wasn't your goal so went my separate way!

I should have added that bit - I told several people I was going and half the group said bye when I was leaving!

You lot didn't actually wait for me did you?

I'll have you know that I was dropping cars in the 30 zone out of Marden today! It's just unfortunate that my hard training days don't tend to align with those of others!
