The rims are Alex AT450 (if that means anything to you), the spokes are black and the hubs are shiny silver and have sealed cartridge bearings which seem to spin forever (ok, for a long time). 700c clincher rims. Velox rim tape and 15mm axle nuts included. The hub is "flip flop" and accepts a fixed sprocket on one side and a single speed freewheel on the other.
Not sure what they're worth but I would think about £35 is about right. I've got a brand new Shimano DX MX30 freewheel (18T) which you can have with the wheels if you want it (they have a RRP of £25).
