Night Ride - 18th February

Night Ride - 18th February

Postby TimFeneron on Mon Feb 16, 2009 7:58 am

Hi All,

I'm planning another night ride - following all the rain and snow trails are nice and muddy so sensible tyes please!

Meet point outside the club room at 19:00 on Wednesday.

All welcome - the more the merrier.

As ever, remember to bring:

Lights
Helmet
Tools and spares to effect minor repairs
A sense of humour and...
A couple of quid for a pint afterwards!

Cheers,

Tim.

Thanks Tim/Peter.

Great ride as usual, there was the odd isolated muddy patch on the trails wasn't there  :D

Cheers,

Chris :)

Thanks Chris,

Black Dog Hill, eh? Gacky, claggy Kentish clay at its finest!

See you on the next one?

BTW what run time do you get from your Hope One lights on a fresh set of batteries?

Cheers,

Tim.

I think I have some old fashion dynamo lights somewhere, maybe you could get round battery limitations that way.

To be honest Tim, I've never really been out long enough to run them flat as I switch them to minimum power for road work and just swtich to max on the trails.
I've certainly used them for 2 X 1.5Hour sessions with no problems.
I do use the 2900maH batteries in them though, I can provide you with a linky if you're interested.

Cheers,

Chris :)

Thanks Chris.

I don't seem to be getting the same burn time - looks like the drumming bunny doesn't cut the mustard!

Which LiONs do you use? PM the link.

Cheers,

Tim.

Never trust a bunny with a drum, that glint in his eye shows that there's something else on the agenda

You have mail 8)

Cheers,

Chris :)
