I'm going to try and race all the mtb events. the enduro looks good too. anybody want to make up a team?
I raced at Bedgbury last year and had a great time. its a great way to get into off road racing, and maybe then race the SFACC off road champs. somebody give Phill Webb a run for his money.i try to spend an hour or two a week in the forest after work. its a great way to work on your bike controll.

Henry and I will be there again this year.

If your considering it, we can recommend it, relaxed event with all manner of riding abilities and equipment.

Cost is £8 not the £10 as initially posted on BC.

Last year if you were riding there was no car park charge either
.
Download an entry form there website and show at the gate

Think the only person that may be able to give Phil a run on the MTB would be Dave Seager(if he entered) Phil does seem a bit swift off road..."Whippet Webb" has a bit of a ring to it :D

Good luck everyone, try and get a quick report/results up by Sunday evening if you can and I'll add it to my press report (although the KM are tending to increasingly chop them down).

Cheers Lee and well done to James Smith, Henry, and Scott webb who all raced today.

I really enjoyed the race today. :D The organisers done a great job today. The race went really well with me getting off to a flying start. I following the leader a lark field cycles rider for the first lap, but I managed to get past him when the course opened up after the start finish line. From then on I led the race to the finish while repeatedly saying to myself I hope I don't get a puncher. Fortunately I didn't and crossed the line in full SFACC colours. This win and many mountain bike rides I've done does make me think about some serious mtb cross county racing just like my older brother done a few years ago.

Good job Phil. i'm sure you were 1/2 a lap up on 2nd and 3rd place. I do agree with you, i think you should do more mtb races. you were riding that single track like you had a sixth sense.
well done to Scott another great ride, i think you should to do more events like this too.
and a great ride from you too Lee. the speed you came past me on that open section almost made me pull over and stop. reminded me of the cross team champs when you did the same thing.
sorry i missed most of Henrys race. i hope he sticks with it, he could be the one to watch in ten years time.
as for me well just need to work on my speed, power, strenght and technical skills and then maybe i can keep up. i did enjoy today and i'm looking forward to the next one.

Excellent stuff, Phil 8) Dave told me about it this morning - wish I could've been there to see it. Never mind - there'll be plenty more opportunities to see you winning things this year, I gaurantee! :D
The car in front is a Toyota. The car behind is inevitably some git in a BMW doing their best to knock you off your bike...

No results just yet. But I can confirm I won with my younger brother in his first race ever finished fourth. I told you I’d have some stiff competition.
