Wasn't a particularly a good ride today, didn't start off well when I reset my computer into German with just 15 seconds to go :?
I then realised that my arm rest thingy wasparticularly lose and was almost impossible to rest on - not too good :)
First lap went okay - just a little tough nowing that you have another lap to do when others are sprinting past you for the finish line.
Second lap not so good, having to complete all but about 10 meters knowing I was the last rider and seeing the marshals pack up as I passed them.
It began to rain sightly with about 5 miles to go, I crossed the line in frustration as my computer read 1.28.(something) when I was aiming for a quite a bit faster.
I then rode into a half empty carpark and into the hall to be told I had riden 1.10(something) when actually it had been mistranslated from a 1.25.33
I can't really complain as it is exactly one minute quicker than my PB on that course last year.
Oh and when I bugseyd last to cross the line, I didn't mean by that much :?
I really don't understand why you fast guys don't want to be the first off, it is so much more better when you go first knowing that when you finish people are still out riding.
(My theory is that it is easier for the faster guys (sort of) in that you have to go flat out for about an hour, where as the not so fast peoples have to go a lot longer)
Never mind I have all winter to train for next season now :)
...And be even better :)

Steve I'm glad that you thought that as I thought that it was just my lack of training!

Well done all, found it very hard work as the Wednesday rides finished a month earlier. I personally found it hard to stay motivated for one more ride.
Excellent effort to Michael. Well done! Can we all start drinking gallons of beer now? (Obviously with the exception of Michael and Jodie as they are far too young!)

Well done Michael, fantastic ride. Just look at the conditions and compare your time with the others to see how good a ride it was.
