Hello everyone, ive just been looking through the 2008 record book and i just came across the 50 mile record from 1968 set by P Carter who did a 2-08-56. Does this mean i have set a new record?

Was your time less than 2-08-56? Are you a junior? I'm no expert, but I would say so. Congratulations!

Well done and yes you will need to get in touch with Bill Edwards the club recorder and get a claim form from him ( details in front of MIlestone) and when you have the official result sheet from the race organiser submit both to Bill who will then report it to committee for ratification.

When they reprint the handbook your name will be in the records and you will be part of fairy history.

A great first season - under the hour and now a club junior record!
