Jumble Sale 19 May

Postby PatsyHill on Sun May 17, 2009 1:59 pm

Hands up all those members who have something they want to get rid of, be it old bikes, beds, chests, & even husbands or wives. We don't take kids!

If so, come along to the clubroom & bag a table & display your wares at 8pm.

I shall have, in addition to my usual bags of s/hand cycling clothes going very cheap (50p up), various domestic items such as 2 TVS with remote control, not slimline but in working order ( like me) .

I also have new garden umbrellas, vases, lampshades, all velly cheep.
All my proceeds will go to Cystic Fibrosis research as usual. I hear that the Suttons have hired a lorry to bring something very big & cool!! So be there or don't - you will miss the fun.

I was planning to load up a fridge freezer and bring it along but Ian has suggested printing a photograph of it instead!

He is also going to sort out a box of bike bits for sale including his first racing bike he bought over twenty years ago.

See you all on Tuesday evening for the fairy bargain hunt of the year.

Blimey, there are going to be some bargains on the Sutton table.

Ooh...saddles, stems, bars, brakes, chains, fridge-freezers, seatposts, seat packs, shoes, books etc. Even mystery free gifts. Some of it new and unused, some used but loved.

Can you afford to miss it :?:

Thanks to all who bought from Ted last night , sorry I didnt make it but I had a few problems. I now have some £45 to give to Mike Ducker for our pet charity Cystic Fibrosis Research. My car looks as if nothing has gone as Ted came home with yet more donated clothing but at least I got rid of one of the 2 TVS! If anyone wasn't there my summer racing tops are now down to 50p to get rid of them. I always have the bags in my car so if you feel like a rummage after the 50 on Sunday see me.I'm timing.
