I suggest the 9 or 10 o'clock Inters on Saturday or 9 o'clock Sunday which I believe is traditionally a bit longer (in the range of 50-60 miles). Then if you want to you can try the 10 o'clock Saturday fast inters in a few weeks :D

Failing that if it is of any use I'm leading the 10 o'clock Inters on Saturday 15th and we will do 40-45 miles at a steady pace from Marden out towards West Malling area

Richard

That looks like good advice . Start with the intermediates then you can upgrade to the fast inters. If thats too slow for you the "A" group will be starting to get into gear again around October time.

Marden Station carpark is the meeting place. Ride in from home to get a warm up first and a warm down after.
I personally recommend the use of an approved cycle helmet when riding ones bike

thanks for all the advice
I have seen the club run part on the website and t is all invaluable however as hopefully everybody understands without getting out on the road in a group it is impossible to guage ones fitness/stamina
The advice for me from club members is much appreciated and now i have a starting point on getting out in a group
