Disc Wheel Design :D

Hi everyone.

Right basically ive been looking through the disc wheels and i was juust wondering when i get one id like to give mine my own special touch. 8) Is it possible to buy certain disc wheels without the decals such as Zipps and Reynolds??

You could always get it airbrushed!

Alternatively, it has been possible to peel some zipp labels off. I don't think you can buy them that way though.

Would that affect the aerodynamics of the wheel, and if so for better or worse :D

Thought - can we somehow introduce aerodynamics into every topic and give Rob something to do until he finds a job :lol:

Mike.

I changed the colour of decals on my Zipp 404's. Basically you need to apply heat to the decal and slowly peel the decal off the wheel. I used a hair dryer as a source of heat.

This guy in the US sells some different decals for disks

Ahh right ok thanks for the Link Phill, also is it possible to put a name on the disc wheel for example my own name, would this be allowed in races ?

Hi Micheal i changed the colour of my corima disc and try spoke front from yellow to red . I have friend on site who does signe writing on almost anything. He Took my old ones of .and put the knew ones on . Hope you are keeping well

Ah right thanks very much Stuart, i think dads found someone who can do it so ill just have to wait and see when the time comes but if not i might have to ask you for that guys details :D Im fine thanks just prepping for next season now. And yourself? Been doing much riding?
