Nice one Phill, that's three Cat 2's in the club at the moment I think. SFACC racing is definitely riding a big wave at the moment :D

Looking at the points system to go from 2 -1st Cat looks exceptionally hard!! Question is who can get to 1st Cat rather than who will be 1st to it.

Well done Phill!! You are too modest! Why didnt you email me for the Aug mag as Ive just sent it to the printers? We really do need a RR Secretary after these last few years without one as he/she would be able to come to Meetings & pass on news like this. I have been very busy for the last week or so typing the Aug mag to finish work on it before the 12 tomorrow plus Ive had other personal stuff ,so I am now browsing the forum - & seeing what nobody has told me!!!

Now to see about that 1st 1st Cat. I promise whoever it is a front mag cover & a brilliant write-up.

Look out Phill - a rejuvenated Ray Whibley is road racing again! The grapevine (via Dick Naylor) informs me Ray had the audacity to chase after the break and win his comeback race in an LVRC event on Sunday.
Dick and Roly were left flabergasted as they limped in behind in the comfort of the main bunch.
Well done Ray - some of us more senior vets might just be encouraged to dust down our road machines and join you. On second thoughts...maybe not!

Wey!! Great stuff Phill 8) We have another one to join me and Dave. Now I just need to do some racing for points to make sure I actually retain my 2nd cat license for next year!

Look forward to racing you in some bigger races from now on
The car in front is a Toyota. The car behind is inevitably some git in a BMW doing their best to knock you off your bike...
