Being able to find cafes in a particular aea on a map would be great. As these will be more permanent would it be possible to add a unique number to each location icon with a link to the dtails in the list?
The West Kent list must be viewed with a degree of caution as some of the cafes are now closed andit lists a lot of Little Chefs.
Rita Wilkins offered to produce a list - not sure if she has started yet but she planned to contact the cafes before listing them.
I'm affraid, orienteering, at least in the SE, is 99.9% on foot, although Saxons O. C. have organised the occasional MTB orienteering event previously, most notibly at Bedgebury Forest and at Kingswood, Challock
W. r. t. the website map idea, it would definitely be possible to put in info (opening times etc...) and associate them with an appropriate map marker. In principle it's also possible to provide a 'login' so that anyone (perhaps Rita?) with the appropriate password can login and update the details. In my experience, maintenance of changing data is the key for these types of things, so using a website as a single point of data collection might be more productive than maintaining a paper list and then duplicating the same information online. Anyway, these are just ideas...
